DIMENSION & SCOPE:
This position formulates and defines system scope and objectives for assigned projects and is responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results in addition to preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written. This position has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
Movement into TCP Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and Six years relevant experience Or
Master’s Degree in related technical discipline and Four years relevant experience
Or
Eleven years relevant experience without college degree. PMP certification highly desirable.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Senior ABAP Developer that must have experience implementing significant customizations for Payroll modules on SAP ECC 6.0 with Netweaver 7.0.
• Experience with large-scale implementations required.
• The work will involve enhancing Human Resources modules of PY and TE on an ECC 6.0 platform using Webdynpro by creating a custom timesheet module and other related payroll enhancements.
• Development will need to meet documented design with considerations to post implementation support and maintainability.
• Will need to work well as a team, communicate well in writing and speech, and be self motivated to perform at a high level under strict deadlines.
• Experience working with multiple platforms (e.g., MVS, UNIX, NT, PC).
• Possesses advanced “Performance engineering skills” (i.e., ability to predict and build performance into systems rather than doing it later).Proven project management ability.
• Proven analytical and communication skills along with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Customer service and detail oriented.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
