SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead sales process from need identification to closure within the Federal government sector. This position focuses on new business with new clients.

Identify client needs and design practical solutions in collaboration with resource units that meet the needs of clients based upon Convergys product and services.

Drive technology and professional services sales to complement live agent and system deals to produce in-year revenue and fill pipeline for future growth.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

· Bachelor’s degree with 7 to 10 years of experience selling outsourced and/or consulting services
· Subject Matter Expertise in the Federal government sector
· Experience in a senior level client facing role (Sales/Consulting) and large account management preferred
· Proven track record of successful sales leadership closing complex deals in excess of $20M annually
· Understanding of Customer Care and outsourcing industry preferred
· Demonstrable ability to grow and maintain relationships at an executive level
· Ability to analyze data and translate it into professional sales presentations
· Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with executives
· Persuasive oral and written communicator with good listening skills
· Sense of urgency and impatience with the status quo
· Ability to work within a dynamic matrixed organization
· Strong analytic, financial and strategic planning skills
· Excellent leadership and organizational skills
