Convergys is looking to build a solid team of friendly customer service sales professionals to work out of our Omaha site. We are seeking individuals with excellent listening skills and the ability to multitask.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
• Answering incoming calls and providing assistance with product orders and giving customers information regarding their account status.
• Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using agreed upon procedures.
• Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns and demonstrate empathy.
• Clarify customer requirements; probe for and confirm understanding of requirements or problem.
• Meet customer requirements through first contact resolution.
• Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity.
• Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Excellent Verbal Communication Skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers over the phone.
• Ability to provide top-notch customer service while up-selling products.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency operating within a Windows environment, utilizing the Internet, and ability to utilize multiple computer programs at once.
• High-School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• Ability to work variety of schedules, including afternoon and evening shifts.
ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to perform light hand activity work at a computer/telephone station in an office environment. Position is primarily sedentary.
• May stretch or stand at workstation for short periods at employees option, as long as such activity does not detract from the employees work, or interfere with other employees.
