    Protecting your life, as well as the quality of life of you and your family, is important to us.

    Insurance options and benefits by employment location include:

    US Employees:

    • Basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at no cost to eligible employees.
    • Employees may pay for additional life and AD&D coverage.
    • Eligible employees whose illness or disability extends beyond seven calendar days are provided with benefits under our disability plan.
    • Various types of leaves of absence are also available to employees, including family/medical, military or personal.

    Canadian Employees:

    • Basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at no cost to eligible employees
    • Employees may pay for additional life and AD&D coverage
    • You may also apply for dependent life insurance in varying coverage, and for Critical Illness Insurance in varying coverage amounts for yourself and your eligible spouse
    • Disability insurance is offered to assist you in replacing part of your income during periods of prolonged absence from work due to an illness or accident. Short-term disability provides partial income replacement to you during an illness/disability of less than 17 weeks. Long-term disability begins after 34 weeks of disability should your illness or injury prevent you from returning to work.

    We are committed to helping employees ensure their financial security with resources that contribute to retirement planning and savings.

    Options and benefits by employment location may include:

    • Retirement Savings Plan (US) - US Employees may elect to contribute up to 50% of their pay, not to exceed IRS limits, to a pre-tax 401(k) plan. After one year of service, Convergys will match 100% of each before-tax dollar contributed up to 5% of pay per pay period.
    • Retirement Savings Plan (Canada) - For Canadian Employees, Convergys will match between 0% and 75% of your contributions in the prior calendar year (applied only to the first 6% of your earnings in any one year). The amount of the company match is determined each year based on the company's financial performance in the year prior.
    • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (All) - Employees may purchase Convergys common shares through an after-tax payroll deduction. We will match 15% of employees' contributions toward share purchases.
